Photography is a simple yet complex medium.
My early encounter with photography begun with the local photographers of my hometown, San Carlos or
Nabingkalan, they are drinking buddies of my late father, Ciano... they are Cedro Fernandez, Ciano
Ramacho, Lukoy, 'Nong Pancho, among others.
Around the year 1997, i was assigned (accidentally) to manage the photo-archives of the Archivo Recoleto
de Filipinas. From there, i saw firsthand photos of the early 1800's, right after the invention of the medium.
In 2001, i underwent the summer photography course of Mandy Navasero.
